OSGARRA is a product of five years of playing, writing and arranging music, as well asbringing together a strong traditional sense of tune with modern backing to create a new and fresh sound to West Coast traditional music. OSGARRA showcases a selection of tunes and songs written and arranged by the band in both Gaelic and English alongside tunes from some of Scotland’s foremost contemporary composers of traditional music, giving a musical landscape from reflective songs to driving dance beats.
